Treasury Building

Description of Works

SERS for various clients operating on the treasury building development have provided vibration monitoring stations across the site during various stages of development. Vibration monitoring was seen as critical for the site as multiple contractors with varying scopes of works were on the site at varying times working in and around the heritage listed buildings.

Monitoring was conducted during the demolition works of the eleven story council chambers building, the stripping and basement digs of the treasury building itself, in ground stabilisation works and bulk construction of multiple buildings on the block. Vibration monitoring complimented the dilapidation surveys conducted by SERS at the commencement of the project.

Vibration monitors operated in real time with alerts sent to nominated personnel at the client’s request. All units were serviced and calibrated by our qualified personnel. At any one time nine vibration monitors were deployed across the works. Reporting was offered to all clients on a weekly basis with consultancy based advice complementing our data outputs.

Outcome

All clients on the project were offered concise, real time monitoring with user friendly competent reporting to cover off their contractual obligations. All monitoring services were all encompassing with no hidden or on charges for the client to consider.
