In 2017, SERS established themselves as an environmental consultancy leader in Sydney. Servicing the entirety of NSW, the Sydney team also offers asbestos services, environmental planning and monitoring, and contaminated land services, with the addition of an in-house Occupational Hygienist who also specialises in dilapidation assessments.
The SERS Sydney team is led by Regional Manager, Paul Wallace who relocated from head office to manage the Sydney office.
Paul Wallace is a Licensed Asbestos Assessor, Certified Occupational Hygienist and Environmental Scientist with over seven years’ experience in the industry both as a tradesman, contractor and consultant.
Paul has built his career in environmental monitoring, x-ray fluorescence spectrometry, geophysical exploration and natural area management. Since joining SERS in 2014, he has become NATA accredited Approved Counter (Respirable Fibre Monitoring), a Licensed Asbestos Assessor and in 2017 took the role of Regional Manager at the newly established New South Wales office in Sydney.
He has undertaken a vast amount of hazardous materials surveys and investigations, managed asbestos removal works across Australia and consulted on large-scale removal and remediation works. Paul has also played a role in our spill response crew and been responsible for soil and groundwater investigations, dust/vibration/noise and water monitoring, and dilapidation surveys.
Outside of his SERs commitments, Paul is a member of local bushland care groups for NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services, the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand and the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene.
