Over the last year, I have led SERS through a significant re-branding phase, with the finalised product demonstrating our continued development and the contemporary standing of SERS in Australia. To tie in with the finalization of our branding project, we are now launching a monthly newsletter aimed at providing our clients and partners with valuable information regarding our projects and changes within the industry.
At the beginning of March, we launched our new website www.sers.net.au. The redesign has increased usability and now delivers an easily navigated platform with information about SERS, our services and clients and projects, in addition to the blog and news areas with updates and key information on the industry and emerging trends.
Throughout this process we have also had some internal changes which have been accompanied by significant growth in all states. Last year, Richard Southam relocated from Perth to take the position of Regional Manager, Queensland. Since Richard’s commencement in the role, the Queensland office has grown rapidly, with subsequent increases in staff and recruitment opportunities. While we are currently hiring Asbestos Assessors in Brisbane and Sydney, the Queensland team has also recently expanded to include a full time environmental scientist. Once recruitment in Brisbane has come to a close, the office will have tripled in size since his promotion into the role.
As we move into the second quarter of the year, we are focusing on high quality service delivery and the continued expansion of the Sydney, New South Wales office. We will achieve this by continuing to work closely with our clients, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations while providing end-to-end services across the country.
As a result of approaching the end of our current growth strategy, the team is coming into peak performance and as we move into the next few months, I am excited for what lies on the horizons for SERS and the team.
